Morocco’s Digital Development Agency (ADD) has recently expanded the “e-TAMKEEN” program onto the national digital learning platform, Academia Raqmya. Originally launched between 2018 and 2023, this initiative has successfully trained about 6,800 participants with a budget of 3.5 million euros. The program’s expansion aims to provide more civil servants, professionals, and learners access to its comprehensive digital capacity-building modules.
e-TAMKEEN offers a variety of training modules covering essential areas such as digital communication, public innovation, collective intelligence, public problem-solving, cybersecurity, data protection, and digital transformation. This initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and the Belgian development agency Enabel, focusing on enhancing the skills of civil servants across central and local government levels.
The reintroduction of e-TAMKEEN aligns with Morocco’s strategic vision, “Maroc Digital 2030,” which prioritizes strengthening ICT professional training to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of managing public services more effectively in the digital age. This approach supports Morocco’s commitment to fostering a digital transformation that benefits its entire society.
