Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM) announced the launch of TechM Orion, a next-generation AI agent development and deployment platform powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing. Designed to help enterprises scale AI adoption responsibly and efficiently, TechM Orion emphasizes governance, transparency, and measurable business outcomes.
Built on NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise software suite—including NIM, NeMo, and RAPIDS—the platform supports cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployments, seamlessly integrating with existing enterprise systems and third-party tools. It accelerates AI solution deployment in both assisted and autonomous environments while maintaining control and compliance throughout the AI lifecycle.
Nikhil Malhotra, Chief Innovation Officer at Tech Mahindra, said TechM Orion enables enterprises to move beyond experimentation toward transformation by delivering ROI and assurance through NVIDIA’s infrastructure and AI stack.
Key features include:
- Rapid AI agent creation with the Chat-to-Agent (C2A) interface, cutting development from weeks to under one week.
- A library of 200+ pre-built AI agents across banking, telecom, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail.
- Integration with enterprise systems via pre-configured connectors, low-code Python adapters, and frameworks such as Agentic RAG.
- 30+ configurable AI governance checks to ensure transparency and compliance.
- VerifAI, Tech Mahindra’s proprietary observer agent, monitors workflows for secure, ethical data usage.
- Support for enterprise knowledge with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and fine-tuned models to reduce hallucinations.
John Fanelli, NVIDIA VP of Enterprise Software Products, highlighted TechM Orion’s role in advancing intelligent, multi-step workflow automation powered by agentic AI.
TechM Orion complements Tech Mahindra’s AI leadership, building on Project Indus 2.0—India’s advanced multilingual large language model—and the “AI Delivered Right” strategy launched in April 2025. The platform will be commercially available in Q3 2025, with early access for select clients starting August. The company also plans global AI Engineering Centers of Excellence to support scale and innovation.
