InnoVista Launches Pakistan’s First National Agentic AI Hackathon

KARACHI – InnoVista, in partnership with the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), Google, and Systems Limited, has launched the National Agentic AI Hackathon 2025, the country’s first large-scale initiative dedicated to harnessing Artificial Intelligence for solving national challenges.

As the Exclusive Technology Partner, Google will provide access to advanced AI tools on the Google Cloud Platform, including Vertex AI and Firebase Studio, alongside mentorship from Google Developer Groups and Google Developer Experts. Systems Limited will serve as Knowledge Partner, bringing technical expertise and guidance, while PAFLA will act as the National Enabler and Outreach Partner to ensure inclusivity and broad participation.

The hackathon will be hosted across six cities—Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Bahawalpur—engaging over 1,000 participants with an emphasis on female inclusion. Teams will undergo mentorship, compete in regional rounds, and advance to a Grand National Finale in Islamabad.

The initiative will address key thematic areas such as AgriTech (smart farming, yield optimization, irrigation efficiency), Fintech (fraud detection, financial inclusion), climate and disaster management, digital inclusion (rural digitization, education access), public health, and urban planning. Winners will gain mentorship, investor access, and visibility to transform their solutions into impactful ventures.

Hisham Sarwar, CEO of InnoVista, described the hackathon as “a movement to position Pakistan at the forefront of the global AI revolution,” highlighting the role of Google’s partnership in equipping local innovators with world-class AI resources.
