Netcracker Technology has completed a major revenue management modernisation project for Sri Lanka’s national ICT service provider, SLT-MOBITEL. The upgrade consolidates the operator’s billing and revenue operations onto the Netcracker Digital BSS platform, creating a unified, future-ready system for both mobile and fixed services across retail and enterprise segments.
The modernisation enables SLT-MOBITEL to streamline operations, improve transaction handling capacity and accelerate billing cycles. By leveraging a single, reusable BSS environment, the operator can boost cash flow, support rapid business growth and deploy new services more efficiently. The program also includes multi-year implementation and post-production support from Netcracker.
The initiative forms part of SLT-MOBITEL’s wider strategy to unify brands and consolidate IT infrastructure nationwide. The operator’s CEO, Imantha Wijekoon, said the modernization builds on nearly two decades of collaboration with Netcracker and will enable the company to offer more innovative products and enhanced customer support.
Netcracker CTO Bob Titus highlighted the long-standing relationship with SLT-MOBITEL, stating that the company looks forward to supporting the operator’s continued expansion as it evolves its product and service portfolio.
