BNET, Bahrain’s national broadband provider, has unveiled the BNET E-Sourcing platform, a new digital tool for managing supply chain and supplier relations, developed in collaboration with global e-commerce and procurement leader SAP, and IT services consultant SEIDOR. The platform is part of an initiative led by BNET’s Procurement and Logistics Department to enhance procurement processes and operational efficiencies.
The BNET E-Sourcing platform introduces advanced functionalities for supplier selection, negotiation, tendering, and contract management, aligning with BNET’s goals of improving procurement efficiency and fostering better collaboration with partners and suppliers. To ensure a successful rollout, BNET’s department conducted training sessions, and plans to continue educating all stakeholders involved. Comprehensive video tutorials and detailed guides are also provided to facilitate a smooth transition and deepen understanding of the platform’s capabilities.
