Zong, Pakistan’s leading telecom operator, has extended its high-speed 4G services to the Gilgit-Baltistan region, including key areas such as Gilgit, Hunza, and Skardu, with plans for further expansion. This initiative reflects Zong’s commitment to providing reliable and affordable 4G connectivity across Pakistan.

This expansion is a strategic collaboration with the Special Communications Organization (SCO), allowing the sharing of network resources to maintain accessibility and affordability for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The CEO of Zong emphasized the importance of this project, stating, “Bringing 4G connectivity to Gilgit-Baltistan is a crucial milestone in our mission to enhance digitalization in Pakistan. This expansion not only meets the connectivity needs of local communities but also creates new opportunities for businesses, tourism, and education in the region.
