Presight, a prominent big data analytics company known for its AI-driven solutions, has secured a multi-million-dollar contract from Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) to spearhead digital advancements in the country’s healthcare sector. This initiative builds on the expertise gained from successful healthcare transformation projects in Abu Dhabi, specifically leveraging the Abu Dhabi Health Data Services (ADHDS) know-how.
The project aims to fast-track the integration of innovative technologies and data-centric strategies to enhance healthcare outcomes for Jordanians. Presight will deploy its advanced big data analytics to deliver actionable insights and implement cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
Key components of the contract include delivering a detailed digital healthcare assessment, crafting a health information exchange strategy, and setting up a virtual hospital “Command Centre.” This centre will facilitate next-generation telehealth services such as tele-ICU, tele-radiology, and tele-dialysis to extend advanced medical care to peripheral hospitals.
This initiative is poised to encapsulate a significant portion of clinical interactions, aiming to improve resource efficiency, enhance care quality, reduce healthcare costs, and expand access to essential medical services throughout Jordan.
The project officially commenced with a meeting in Jordan, attended by Ahmad Hanandeh, Jordan’s Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, Jordan’s Minister of Health.
Dr. Firas Al-Hawari emphasized the urgency and necessity of digital transformation in healthcare to achieve national comprehensive care goals. “This initiative is pivotal for propelling the healthcare sector and maintaining its pace with global advancements,” he remarked.

Kareem Shahin, CEO of M42’s Abu Dhabi Health Data Services, highlighted the transformative impact seen in Abu Dhabi, expressing enthusiasm about replicating this success in Jordan. “This agreement is a critical milestone in redefining Jordan’s healthcare landscape, aiming to make it more accessible, efficient, and responsive,” he stated.
