A group of prominent Egyptian entrepreneurs and business leaders has founded NextEra Education, an innovative educational platform, with an investment of over $42 million (EGP2 billion). This initiative marks a collaborative effort between EYouth and esteemed businessmen Mohamed Farouk, Ahmed Tarek, Mustafa Abd El Latif, and Mokhtar Ahmed to profoundly transform Egypt’s educational landscape.
NextEra Education aims to overhaul traditional educational frameworks by incorporating cutting-edge AI technology and forging partnerships with leading international universities. The initiative is designed to equip Egyptian students with the essential skills needed to thrive in the global economy and address the pressing challenges of the current education system.
Mustafa Abd El Latif, CEO of NextEra Education and EYouth, emphasized the critical role of their substantial investment and the integration of AI: “With these resources, we are preparing our students not just to fulfill the demands of today’s job market, but to become tomorrow’s global leaders.”
Mohamed Farouk, CEO of Mobica and Chairman of NextEra Education, explained the overarching goal: “We are committed to creating an educational ecosystem in Egypt that seamlessly integrates traditional educational methods with the demands of the modern economy.”
Ahmed Tarek, a board member of NextEra Education, further highlighted the significance of merging business acumen with educational expertise: “This blend is essential for equipping the forthcoming generation of Egyptian leaders with the necessary tools to excel internationally.”
NextEra Education will provide a range of globally recognized accredited programs, including bachelor’s degrees in critical fields like cybersecurity, AI, business administration, data science, and analytics.
