Management consulting firm Kearney is set to highlight the transformative roles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) in security at the upcoming Intersec Saudi Arabia. The event, which is the kingdom’s premier exhibition and conference for the security, safety, and fire protection industries, will take place from October 1 to 3.
Andrea Lugini, Partner and MEA Security Lead at Kearney, emphasized the importance of AI and VR in developing predictive and personalized security solutions for smart cities. “AI is pivotal in analyzing data from diverse sources to preemptively address potential security incidents, while VR technologies enable the simulation of real-world scenarios to enhance security training and protocols,” Lugini explained.
During the Future Security & Safety Summit, part of the event, Kearney’s experts will engage in discussions on emerging global threats and the latest strategies for crisis response, resilience, and risk management. These sessions will also cover the necessity of robust security measures for major global events such as the World Cup and the Winter Olympics.
The Future Readiness Programme on October 3 will gather government officials, security leaders, and experts from Kearney to debate the evolving security landscape and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of the industry.
Riham Sedik, Show Manager at Intersec Saudi Arabia, stated, “Kearney, as our exclusive Knowledge Partner, will contribute invaluable insights into the global and regional security dynamics. This platform allows attendees to network with industry leaders and discover innovative solutions.”
The exhibition will feature five key product categories: Commercial and Perimeter Security, Cybersecurity, Homeland Security and Policing, Fire Rescue, and Safety and Health. This year’s event has seen a significant increase in exhibitor demand, expanding the exhibition space by 34% compared to 2023, now encompassing 23,000 sq m.
