In a recent meeting, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, met with Fouz Mohammed Ali, Head of the Cyberspace Child Protection Unit at the Ministry of Interior. The governor praised the unit’s efforts in safeguarding children from online threats and underscored the importance of the educational programs and media campaigns initiated under the directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister.
These initiatives aim to heighten public awareness of the potential dangers in the digital space and educate the community, especially children, on safe internet practices. The Governor highlighted the significant role of the unit in fostering a secure digital environment and stressed the necessity of ongoing workshops and awareness sessions to protect young users from cybercrime and inappropriate online behavior.
