Ali Al-Moayyed, Chairman of Iraq’s Communications and Media Commission, met with Bocar Ba, CEO of the Samena Council, in New York to discuss the future of 5G and satellite internet in Iraq. Additionally, the talks explored the potential of satellite internet services, evaluating global best practices for licensing, and addressing potential challenges, such as interference with the terrestrial frequency spectrum.
Al-Moayyed underscored the importance of participating in global workshops and conferences to keep pace with innovations in telecommunications and information technology, including artificial intelligence and big data.
