Oman’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has unveiled a new telecom licensing management system aimed at streamlining the process of obtaining licenses and permits for telecom services in the country. According to TRA CEO Omar Hamdan Al Ismaili, this electronic system enables users to submit, track, and finalize their applications entirely online. Additionally, the system is designed to improve collaboration among various regulatory bodies, including the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion.
