Huawei has entered a strategic partnership with Egypt’s Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) to introduce cutting-edge AI-powered cloud technology in the Egyptian market. The agreement, signed in Shenzhen, China, will see TMG leverage Huawei’s advanced cloud solutions to develop cloud data centers and AI technologies, aimed at transforming the Noor City project into a smart city.
TMG plans to launch “NOOR Cloud” to deliver comprehensive cloud services, offering scalable infrastructure, real-time data analytics, and seamless connectivity to meet the needs of Egypt’s urban communities.
Mohamed Hisham Talaat Moustafa, Chief Recurring Income Officer at TMG, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that it will empower businesses and foster innovation across industries by embracing cloud technology. Mohamed Salah, VP of Intelligent Cities at TMG, emphasized that this partnership goes beyond implementing technology—it’s about reimagining urban living through innovative and sustainable solutions.
Hank Chen, VP of Huawei’s Government Public Services Digitalization Business, highlighted the transformative power of cloud technology in smart city development, while Felix Xu, CEO of Huawei Egypt Enterprise Business Group, reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to supporting TMG’s vision of sustainable, technologically advanced smart cities.
This collaboration builds on Huawei and TMG’s longstanding partnership in developing sustainable smart cities, aiming to set new benchmarks for urban development and digital innovation in Egypt.
