Dell Technologies and Alinma Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at accelerating the bank’s digital transformation initiatives. The agreement was formalized during the 24th Fintech Summit in Riyadh by Mohammed Talaat, Vice President for Saudi Arabia and Egypt at Dell Technologies, and Yaser Alofi, Chief Information Officer at Alinma Bank.
This collaboration marks a significant advancement in Alinma Bank’s digital transformation strategy, which adheres to Shariah-compliant banking practices. The MoU establishes a framework for both parties to jointly develop and implement innovative data center transformation solutions. Key areas of focus include Dell’s IT infrastructure, workload migration solutions, AI Factory models, cybersecurity enhancements, and multi-cloud solutions delivered flexibly through Dell APEX.
Dell APEX offers an end-to-end portfolio of as-a-service and subscription services, allowing customers to pay only for the services they consume. This model helps organizations scale their resources according to their needs and simplifies IT management with consistent performance and predictable costs, along with on-demand access to Dell’s infrastructure and services.
Established in 2006, Alinma Bank has gained recognition for its innovative offerings and customer-centric approach, leading the charge in digital banking. Talaat emphasized the transformative phase the Saudi banking sector is undergoing, driven by technological advancements and a growing emphasis on innovation.
