The Sultanate of Oman took part in the 28th meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Telecommunications and Posts, held in Qatar. The Omani delegation was led by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
During the meeting, officials discussed strategies to enhance the telecommunications and postal sectors within GCC member states, focusing on fostering joint cooperation in these vital areas. The committee also explored opportunities for collaboration among GCC countries in the field of space.
