KARACHI: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has formed a partnership with China Mobile International Limited (CMI), a global leader in telecommunications and ICT, during GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, UAE. This collaboration focuses on global network resource sharing to improve connectivity for customers both in Pakistan and worldwide.
The agreement was signed by Waqar Ahmed, Group Director of Enterprise Solutions at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Alex Lee, Managing Director of China Mobile International Middle East, in the presence of investors, innovators, business leaders, and top management from both organizations.
This landmark partnership will integrate PTCL and CMI networks to provide seamless and high-quality connectivity solutions to their users. PTCL’s extensive fibre network, covering over 65,000 kilometers across Pakistan, combined with CMI’s global presence through 305 overseas Points of Presence (PoPs), will enable the delivery of robust and scalable connectivity for both businesses and individual consumers.
