Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistan and Algeria have expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in the field of IT and telecommunications. This was discussed during a meeting between Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Pakistan’s Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, and Brahim Romani, the Algerian Ambassador to Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the importance of strong ties in the IT and telecom sector and agreed to explore avenues for collaboration.
“Pakistan greatly values its relations with Algeria, as the ties in the IT and telecom sector between the two countries are vital,” stated Minister Khawaja, highlighting the significance of this partnership.
Minister Khawaja emphasized the potential benefits of exchanging students, startups, and entrepreneurs between the two countries. She also offered Pakistan’s expertise in organizing IT training programs for Algerian youth.
To further solidify the collaboration, the two sides discussed the formation of a joint working group focused on IT and telecommunications. This working group will explore opportunities for knowledge sharing, joint ventures, and initiatives that promote innovation and growth in the tech sector.
