The World Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics Expo & Summit (WAM Morocco) is set to debut in Casablanca from 28–30 October 2025 at the Foire Internationale de Casablanca (FIC). The event, supported by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), and the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), aims to fuel Morocco’s manufacturing economy and promote the growth of next-generation industries.
WAM Morocco will serve as a key platform to expand Morocco’s industrial base, foster new sectors, and build capacity for sustainable growth. The event is organized by KAOUN International, the organizer of GITEX GLOBAL and GITEX Africa, and will showcase cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, sustainable practices, and AI innovation.
Morocco’s robust manufacturing and logistics sectors, particularly in automotive and aerospace, have attracted substantial international investment. The country is now the largest non-European automotive exporter to Europe and plays a significant role in the aerospace sector, with exports totaling $2.2 billion and key clients including Boeing and Airbus. These advancements have strengthened Morocco’s position, paving the way for WAM Morocco.
H.E. Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, expressed his support for the event, emphasizing Morocco’s commitment to innovation and industrial leadership. “WAM Morocco represents a milestone in our journey to becoming a leading hub for advanced manufacturing in Africa and the world,” he said.
Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, highlighted the strategic importance of WAM Morocco, noting that the event will help Morocco and Africa secure a prominent place in high-tech industries and enable unprecedented access to global technological capabilities.
The event will showcase next-generation technologies in AI, quantum computing, 3D printing, blockchain, and mixed reality, and will feature specialized events such as WAP (World Advanced Packing, Printing, and Plastic Technologies), WARM (World Advanced Rubber & Metal Industrial Technologies), and WASIM (World Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing).
WAM Morocco aims to accelerate Morocco’s position as a leader in advanced manufacturing by leveraging AI, deep tech, and sustainable practices. The event will foster public-private partnerships, attract foreign investment, and support local capacity-building, contributing to Morocco’s role as a high-tech, sustainable manufacturing hub in Africa.
Chakib Alj, President of CGEM, emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration, stating that WAM Morocco is a vital platform for Moroccan businesses to engage with international innovators, forge partnerships, and drive industrial progress. He added, “This event will create long-term economic impact for Morocco and Africa as a whole.”
