Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, expressed that Bahrain’s National Days celebrations, marking the 25th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne, are an important occasion to reaffirm the nation’s commitment to its leadership. These national events embody unity, solidarity, and the spirit of a cohesive community founded on shared values. The minister extended his congratulations to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al Khalifa emphasized that the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications will continue its efforts as part of Team Bahrain to achieve the goals outlined in the Government Plan, particularly in the transportation and telecommunications sectors. This includes advancing infrastructure for land, sea, and air transport with cutting-edge technologies, supporting the service and economic sectors, and enhancing Bahrain’s role as a global logistics and technology hub to facilitate high-potential national economic projects.
The minister further highlighted the ministry’s commitment to providing integrated, safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly services that adhere to the highest international standards. He also reaffirmed the ministry’s dedication to achieving Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, improving the quality of life, building capacities, and fostering institutional excellence, with a focus on citizens at the heart of the government’s priorities.
