Orange Jordan sponsored the workshop titled “Towards Digital and Sustainable Media,” held at the Innovation Hub in the Orange Digital Village. The workshop, organized in collaboration with Madraj and supported by Al-Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI), aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of journalists, entrepreneurs, and startup founders on best practices for launching sustainability and digital media-focused projects.
Experts from Madraj presented successful case studies of media companies, addressing the most pressing challenges and proposing solutions. Zeid Nasser, a business development and digital marketing expert, led discussions on generating revenue and achieving business growth in the media sector.
In its sponsorship, Orange Jordan emphasized the significance of the workshop in advancing the media landscape. It highlighted the growing importance of increasing the participation of both women and men in a sector that plays a key role in shaping public opinion and raising awareness across all industries. Orange also showcased its role in promoting digital education through its community programs under the Orange Digital Centers (ODC), underscoring the social impact these initiatives have on national growth in various sectors.
This workshop was part of AJMI’s “Voices from the South” initiative. Participants had the opportunity to apply what they had learned with Eng. Muath Khleifat, who provided valuable feedback on leadership and growth opportunities. Khleifat worked interactively with participants to analyze methods for generating revenue, developing partnerships, and selecting effective channels for outreach to achieve sustainability and profitability.
