In 2024, a total of 882,583 electronic transactions were completed through Jordan’s comprehensive government service centres, according to Sami Smeirat, the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. These centres represent a significant step towards transforming how citizens access government services, in line with His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives to improve the quality of life for Jordanians.
By bringing multiple government services under one roof, these centres aim to streamline processes and enhance accessibility for citizens. The initiative’s first comprehensive centre was launched in Al Muqablin, with additional branches at Queen Alia International Airport, Irbid, and Tafilah. Trial operations were also carried out in Madaba, Ma’an, and Aqaba to further expand its reach.
“These centres use advanced and innovative technologies to deliver high-quality, efficient services designed to meet the diverse needs of citizens,” said Smeirat. The initiative also prioritises customer satisfaction by offering services through various channels, ensuring they are accessible anytime and anywhere.
The goal is to simplify service delivery, enhance citizen experiences, and improve satisfaction, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to modernizing government services.
