Media City Qatar Partners with Al Jazeera for AI Conference, Showcasing Innovation in Media and Content Creation

Media City Qatar (MCQ) participated as a key partner alongside Al Jazeera Media Institute for the “Al Jazeera Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Media,” held on January 11-12, 2025, in Doha. The conference brought together industry experts for dynamic panel discussions and workshops, exploring AI’s growing influence in journalism, content personalization, and immersive storytelling.

As part of the second edition of the conference, MCQ highlighted its innovative contributions to AI technologies in media and content creation. The company emphasized its ongoing commitment to advancing AI’s role in the industry, reinforcing its leadership in driving technological transformation.

At its dedicated booth, MCQ facilitated discussions and collaboration with global experts, leading technology companies, prominent press organizations, and visitors eager to learn more about Qatar’s expanding media sector.

The project, launched to commemorate Qatar National Day 2024, earned a Guinness World Records title for the “Most People Contributing to an AI-Generated Image.” Reaching over 5.4 million people and generating 68,000 engagements across the country, the campaign demonstrated MCQ’s dedication to leveraging AI to engage communities and promote creativity.
