Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) has opened registration for the latest edition of its flagship initiative, the “Zain Al-Mubadara” programme. This initiative aims to foster the growth of Jordan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by empowering the next generation of business leaders. Through various support mechanisms, the programme helps turn innovative ideas into investment-ready projects, driving economic growth and contributing to the creation of sustainable enterprises in the country.
ZINC is calling on Jordanian entrepreneurs, whether owners of early-stage startups or individuals with creative tech-driven ideas, to register for the programme throughout the year. Eligible participants will be selected every four months, with registration available on ZINC’s website (zinc.jo).
The programme offers two main tracks:
- Startups Track: For registered startups in Jordan, including those based abroad, that are less than three years old, revenue-generating, tech-enabled, and have at least one full-time founder.
- Ideas Track: For individuals aged 18 or older with tech-enabled entrepreneurial ideas, unregistered at the time of application. At least one team member must be dedicated full-time to developing the idea.
Each selected startup will receive grants and financial support of up to 10,000 Jordanian dinars, while chosen entrepreneurial ideas will receive 15,000 dinars. This funding will support participants in developing their business models and validating their market potential. ZINC also provides a year-long package of logistical support, including legal, accounting, technical consultation, branding, media promotion, social media marketing, and access to markets.
Participants will undergo several stages, starting with an intensive training camp led by expert trainers, followed by mentoring sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge. This process prepares them to attract investors, scale their businesses, and ensure long-term sustainability.
By launching “Zain Al-Mubadara” annually, ZINC continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting Jordan’s entrepreneurial landscape. Over the years, the programme has helped transform thousands of ideas into successful ventures, having already supported 246 startups by the end of 2024. This initiative has created numerous jobs, contributed to economic growth, and made a lasting impact on Jordan’s local market.
