42 Abu Dhabi Opens Applications for Intensive Coding Bootcamp to Drive Digital Transformation

42 Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s pioneering coding academy known for its innovative and gamified peer-to-peer learning methodology, has opened applications for its upcoming bootcamp, “Piscine,” set to begin on February 3rd. The intensive, 25-day coding bootcamp will evaluate candidates’ programming skills, perseverance, and commitment to technology.

Successful candidates will join Generation 42 Abu Dhabi, elevating their coding skills and contributing to the emirate’s ongoing digital transformation. Piscine serves as the final stage of the application process for 42 Abu Dhabi’s program, where candidates will undergo rigorous testing of their technical and cognitive abilities.

Prospective applicants must first complete 42 Abu Dhabi’s online pre-selection “Game,” which tests logic and memory, and attend an in-person discovery session to understand the bootcamp’s methodology and structure. Those who pass the Piscine will be able to officially join the academy’s coding program.

Students who enroll in 42 Abu Dhabi will benefit from the academy’s extensive network of strategic partners, including the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Police, Mubadala, ADNOC, TotalEnergies, Thales Group, Beacon Red, Electra Abu Dhabi, and Hub71. These partnerships will help students access job opportunities and gain hands-on experience in real-world projects.

Dr. Ahmed Al Shoaibi, Acting CEO of 42 Abu Dhabi, emphasized the academy’s mission to prepare the next generation of innovators with advanced coding skills and an in-depth understanding of AI. This, he believes, is crucial for driving Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation and reinforcing its position as a global technology hub.

Students who successfully complete the academy’s Common Core, four additional modules, and a six-month internship are eligible to receive a Diploma in Software Development, recognized by the UAE’s National Qualification Centre (NQC). Since its inception, 42 Abu Dhabi has enrolled over 900 students, including more than 230 UAE nationals, further contributing to Abu Dhabi’s goal of creating a diverse and inclusive workforce ready for the future.
