SoftAtHome and Orange Jordan have announced the deployment of the world’s first fully prpl-based broadband solution, featuring a home gateway and Wi-Fi repeater powered by prplWare, including prplOS and prplMesh. This breakthrough solution extends device lifecycles and enhances operator independence, enabling new service innovations.
The prpl-based solution allows for greater flexibility by simplifying the integration of the gateway stack across multiple platforms, driving innovation in service offerings, and offering proprietary differentiation from third-party services. SoftAtHome’s collaboration with Orange Jordan also promotes API harmonization and open-source testing to improve scalability and efficiency.
The new gateway supports fiber connectivity with the advanced features of Wi-Fi 6E, further strengthened with critical operator functionalities such as VoIP and Wi-Fi repeater integration, while maintaining compatibility with existing infrastructure.
