EDT&Partners and Eyouth Launch $6 Million Initiative to Equip One Million Young People with Digital Skills

EDT&Partners, a global education consultancy, and Eyouth, an Egyptian skills development startup, have partnered to equip one million young people across Africa and the Middle East with essential digital skills. Backed by a $6 million investment, the program will focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, programming, data analysis, digital marketing, and modern pedagogy.

Unveiled at Bett 2025, the world’s leading education technology event, the initiative will leverage Eyouth’s established platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), combined with EDT&Partners’ innovative educational technologies. Set to launch in February 2025, the program will also support qualified educators in the region.

The partnership aims to address the global digital skills gap, with particular focus on MENA, where only 1.7% of the workforce is classified as “digital talent.” The program will provide interactive training through an advanced platform, available in both English and Arabic, and supported by AI technologies and global partners such as Amazon Web Services.

Pablo Langa, Founder and Managing Partner of EDT&Partners, emphasized the importance of bridging the digital skills gap to enhance the competitiveness of the MENA region, while Mostafa Abdel Latif, Co-Founder and CEO of Eyouth, expressed excitement about empowering one million youth to drive innovation across Africa and the Middle East.
