The partnership, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), will focus on investments in critical digital infrastructure and enhancing stakeholder engagement to drive digital connectivity and inclusion across the country.

The two organizations will work together to review and improve Nigeria’s National Policy on Telecommunications to align with the growing needs of the digital economy. WIOCC Group has committed to deploying a hyperscale open-access digital platform for internet service providers (ISPs), equipped with advanced fibre and colocation facilities. The partnership also includes collaboration with the National Broadband Alliance for Nigeria (NBAN), aimed at improving broadband quality and expanding infrastructure to connect more homes and businesses.
