This initiative, launched in January 2025, allows individuals and businesses to contribute to reforestation and carbon offset efforts with a transparent, trackable, and digital solution.
Key Features of the Platform
Eco-Friendly Contributions
Through the platform, users can plant trees online, track their growth with regular updates, and monitor the carbon absorption progress. Individuals can plant a minimum of 5 trees, while businesses have the option to establish forests starting from 1,000 trees. The initiative also provides businesses with Verra-certified carbon credits for their reforestation efforts.
Transparency and Accountability
EcoMatcher works with vetted foundations globally to ensure accountability and transparency in the tree-planting process. The platform offers features like impact reporting, API integration for large-scale projects, and a direct way for businesses to offset their carbon footprint.
