Jordan’s tablet computer imports amounted to JD45 million in 2024, according to customs data released by the Association of Mobile Phone and Accessories Investors (Vision). With an average market price of JD97 per device, approximately 464,000 tablets were imported last year, marking a significant increase from 2023’s imports of 310,000 units.
Despite this increase, the number of imports in 2024 is relatively consistent with 2022’s level of 451,000 units, indicating fluctuating market demand over the past three years. The data, based on certified customs invoices, offers valuable insights into Jordan’s consumer electronics market trends and reflects the import volumes through official customs channels.
Ahmed Alloush, Head of the Association, emphasized that the figures demonstrate the evolving demand for tablets in the Jordanian market and provide a clearer picture of consumer electronics trends in the country.
