Orange Jordan Opens Digital Fabrication Lab at German Jordanian University

Orange Jordan, continuing its collaboration with Jordanian universities, inaugurated a digital fabrication lab at the German Jordanian University (GJU), marking the sixth lab under the Orange Digital Centres (ODC) initiative. The lab aims to empower students by providing free courses in computer-aided design and prototyping using advanced technologies.

Philippe Mansour, CEO of Orange Jordan, expressed pride in the partnership with GJU and emphasized the lab’s role in supporting innovation and fostering youth creativity. The lab will allow students to transform their ideas into tangible products, helping them develop the skills needed for future entrepreneurship and tech-driven industries.

Professor Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of GJU, highlighted the strategic importance of the collaboration, which provides students with opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital skills development. The partnership has already led to the creation of training programs that help students turn their ideas into startups.

The opening ceremony was attended by key figures from both Orange Jordan and GJU, marking a significant step in advancing education and innovation in Jordan.
