Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed a five-year strategic partnership with US-based Scale AI to advance AI adoption and training across the government. The deal, announced during the Web Summit Qatar 2025, aims to develop more than 50 AI-driven use cases by 2029, with four projects already in progress.
Scale AI will provide advanced AI-powered tools to enhance key processes such as predictive analytics, automation, and data analysis. This partnership aims to support Qatar’s digital transformation strategy, improve operational efficiency in government entities, and upskill the national workforce to lead the country’s digital future.
The collaboration also emphasizes promoting electronic services, sustainable economic growth, and establishing global leadership in responsible AI adoption. Alex Wang, founder and CEO of Scale AI, stated that the partnership will modernize government operations, enhance public services, and help Qatar build an AI-ready workforce.
