Batelco, part of Beyon, has launched new fibre speed plans, offering internet speeds ranging from 300Mbps to 2Gbps. As part of this upgrade, the company is also enhancing its existing fibre speeds. The entry-level speed has been tripled from 100Mbps to 300Mbps, while the top-tier offering has doubled from 1Gbps to 2Gbps.
Existing customers will automatically receive the benefits of these speed increases, enjoying up to three times their current speeds at no extra cost. This upgrade is designed to deliver a seamless and high-performance online experience, including faster downloads, smoother streaming, and a superior overall internet connection.
Batelco’s CEO, Maitham Abdulla, emphasized the company’s commitment to service improvement and customer satisfaction. “At Batelco, we are dedicated to continuously enhancing our services, striving to elevate customer experiences,” he stated.
He also pointed out that the strategic importance of this upgrade goes beyond customer satisfaction. “This step is part of our effort to improve Bahrain’s global speed rankings and enhance the nation’s digital infrastructure, ensuring better connectivity for everyone,” he added.
Customers can subscribe to Batelco’s new fibre speed plans via the company’s retail outlets or mobile application.
