Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka’s leading telecom provider, has completed a successful trial with Meta to integrate AI into its network for improved optimisation and quality of experience (QoE). The two-month trial utilised Meta’s Llama AI models to analyse and optimise Dialog’s network, resulting in enhanced call quality, seamless video delivery, and an overall superior user experience.
By leveraging Meta’s AI-driven insights, Dialog achieved significant improvements in operational efficiency and user satisfaction. The trial demonstrated how AI-powered solutions can help optimise networks, creating new benchmarks for seamless connectivity and boosting QoE. Dialog’s CTO, Ranga Kariyawasam, called the trial a “new era of AI-driven network innovation.”
Dialog will begin deploying this AI-powered solution later this month, marking a significant step toward future-proofing the network and enhancing the customer experience.
