The integration of autonomous network functions allows Turkcell to operate a green network with autonomous energy-saving capabilities. By intelligently managing power usage, Turkcell optimizes network performance while significantly reducing energy consumption, contributing to its sustainability goals. This green network initiative plays a crucial role in minimizing the environmental impact of Turkcell’s network infrastructure.
Turkcell’s use of Huawei’s NetEngine 8000 X backbone router and Network Digital Map enhances energy-saving capabilities, dynamically adjusting energy consumption based on real-time traffic demands. This not only improves network efficiency but also minimizes operational costs, ensuring faster, more reliable services. The 400GE backbone router supports an upgrade to AI capabilities, further improving energy management and network performance.
