Shaikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has witnessed the signing of a strategic partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Colorado-based Nova Sky Stories, and Emirati company Analog, which specializes in physical intelligence and mixed reality.
This multi-year collaboration aims to launch a pioneering initiative that will integrate state-of-the-art drone technology into large-scale immersive storytelling. The partnership will position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for innovation in culture and entertainment. The synchronized drone performances will bring artistic narratives to life across multiple iconic locations, blending the emirate’s rich heritage with its dynamic future.
The initiative will introduce the world’s most advanced fleet of 10,000 light-show drones, making it a first-of-its-kind in the region. This fusion of cultural storytelling and cutting-edge drone technology will create unforgettable, immersive experiences for audiences.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi, highlighted the importance of innovative technologies in sharing Abu Dhabi’s vision and culture with the world. Kimbal Musk, CEO and Co-Founder of Nova Sky Stories, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, noting that Abu Dhabi will be at the forefront of this technological revolution, with the largest fleet of advanced light drones dedicated to storytelling. Nova Sky Stories aims to empower artists and musicians to create art in the sky, transforming the possibilities of entertainment.
