Kuwait Oil Corporation Participates in CERAWeek Conference to Discuss Innovation and Women’s Empowerment in the Energy Sector

Kuwait Oil Corporation (KPC) is actively participating in Houston’s CERAWeek conference, engaging in discussions about the challenges and opportunities amidst global economic shifts. In a statement released Thursday, KPC shared that Shaima Al-Ghunaim, Executive Vice President of Planning and Finance, took part in a panel discussing the role of technology and innovation in empowering women within the energy sector.

Abdullah Al-Afasi, KPC’s Deputy Managing Director for Planning, participated in a session focused on how artificial intelligence is driving creativity and excellence in the oil sector. Al-Afasi emphasized KPC’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

KPC’s involvement in the conference, which concludes on Friday, reflects its dedication to exchanging knowledge with leading industry players and strengthening its partnerships. The company’s delegation was led by Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Deputy Chairman of the Board and CEO of KPC.
