Crown Prince Hussein Visits Ministry of Digital Economy to Discuss Future Programs and National Data Strategy

HRH Crown Prince Hussein visited the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on Thursday, where he was briefed on the ministry’s future programs and projects. Chairing a meeting on the National Council for Future Technology’s national data program, the Crown Prince emphasized the importance of linking and unifying government databases to improve efficiency and citizen access to e-government services.

The Crown Prince stressed the need for accuracy in data registration to optimize government services and highlighted the necessity of developing an institutional culture focused on effective data management. Council members discussed how collecting accurate data, standardizing database structures, and enhancing digital infrastructure could further improve services for citizens.

During his visit, the Crown Prince was also briefed on the Youth, Technology and Jobs project, aimed at enhancing youth digital skills, expanding digital economy applications, and supporting the digital transformation of government services. Additionally, the Crown Prince learned about the work of the Digital Transformation and Empowerment Department, which focuses on digital infrastructure, data management, government digital services, digital identity, digital security, and inter-governmental data exchange and connectivity.
