Oujda Tops Morocco’s Internet Speed Rankings, Followed by Fes and Agadir

Oujda has been recognized as the leader in internet speed across Morocco, with an impressive average download speed of 65.74 Mbps and an upload speed of 15.91 Mbps, according to Ookla’s latest data. Fes follows closely behind, securing the second spot with download speeds of 65.14 Mbps and upload speeds of 15.03 Mbps, showcasing the city’s robust digital infrastructure.

Agadir ranks third with download speeds of 65.08 Mbps and upload speeds of 17.15 Mbps, while Marrakech holds the fourth position with 62.86 Mbps download speeds and 16.7 Mbps upload speeds. The capital city of Rabat and commercial hub Casablanca round out the top six, with download speeds of 60.69 Mbps and 58.31 Mbps, respectively, and slightly varying upload speeds.

Other cities such as Meknes, Tangier, and Sale also perform well in the rankings, highlighting the growing internet infrastructure across the country. Additionally, Maroc Telecom has emerged as the fastest mobile service provider in Morocco, according to the Speedtest Connectivity Report, further emphasizing its dominance in the country’s digital landscape.
