Presight, a leading global big data analytics firm powered by AI, has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to launch the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator. The initiative, signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 27, aims to support emerging AI startups in the UAE and beyond by providing them with the necessary resources, guidance, and venture funding to accelerate their growth.
The accelerator is designed to offer promising startups a commercial edge, access to cutting-edge technology, and opportunities for networking within the UAE, the broader G42 ecosystem, and Presight’s global markets. In addition to these resources, startups will benefit from potential venture funding to scale their businesses exponentially.
Microsoft will play a key role in the initiative by offering technical expertise, mentorship, and market acceleration through its Microsoft Founders Hub program. Startups selected for the accelerator will have access to high-performance computing, cloud services, and foundational AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI-powered analytics. Microsoft’s mentorship network will also provide strategic insights and technical guidance throughout the accelerator’s program.
CEO of Presight, Thomas Pramotedham, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing that both Presight and Microsoft share a passion for innovation in AI. He said, “Our partnership through the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator reflects our mutual commitment to empowering startups with the tools, expertise, and opportunities they need to succeed. Together, we will nurture a vibrant ecosystem for groundbreaking AI to flourish.”
Launched during Gitex Global last year, the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator targets startups that have developed prototypes and are ready to test their products in the market. The program’s curriculum is designed to help startups refine their AI-powered products, optimize go-to-market strategies, and integrate with Presight’s product pipeline, offering unique cross-selling, networking, and promotional opportunities.
Graduates of the accelerator will be equipped with a sustainable business model, a solid product-market fit, and proven customer value, ready to compete in the global market.
Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to support AI startups on their journey to success. Through the Microsoft Founders Hub, we provide technical resources, mentorship, and go-to-market enablement, ensuring startups have the infrastructure to innovate and scale.”
The partnership also aligns with Microsoft’s $1.5 billion investment in G42, aiming to drive AI innovation forward. Presight, as part of the G42 ecosystem, already works closely with Microsoft on several joint projects, further strengthening their collaborative efforts to drive AI adoption and create transformative global solutions.
