With nearly four decades of experience in transporting goods and people worldwide, Emirates has unveiled Emirates Courier Express, an innovative end-to-end delivery solution designed to redefine the express delivery industry.
Emirates worked closely with global customers to pilot and refine the service, ensuring it addresses industry-wide challenges while providing the fastest, most reliable, and flexible delivery solution possible.
Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express successfully transported thousands of packages from countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the UK.
Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, commented, “Emirates Courier Express represents a breakthrough in how we transport goods across the globe at speed and scale, with an average delivery time of less than 48 hours.”
Traditionally, cross-border deliveries follow a global hub-and-spoke model, where packages make multiple stops before reaching their final destination. However, Emirates Courier Express breaks this mold by offering direct delivery from origin to destination, leveraging Emirates’ vast global network and unmatched flight frequencies.
This direct approach reduces transit time and package handling, providing Emirates Courier Express customers with a competitive advantage in getting their goods to end users faster.
The service will initially be available in seven markets, but its potential for network expansion is vast. Wherever Emirates operates, Emirates Courier Express can deliver, offering a variety of service levels, from next-day urgent delivery to a two-day premium service, with more innovative products in the pipeline.
