On Wednesday, Charbel Hajj, Lebanon’s Minister of Telecommunications, met with Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi, Vice Chairman and CEO of Zain Group, during Al-Kharafi’s visit to Lebanon. The meeting, which also included discussions with Lebanon’s President and Prime Minister, focused on enhancing cooperation in the telecommunications sector, exploring investment opportunities, and planning future joint projects.
Al-Kharafi emphasized that Lebanon’s stability is crucial for attracting investments and revitalizing the national economy. Minister Hajj expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for its continued support and highlighted Zain’s important role in Lebanon. He also shared his vision for developing the telecommunications sector, particularly concerning Law 431 and the ministry’s strategic plans.
