Second SaudiFood Manufacturing Show to Highlight F&B Innovation and Sustainability in Riyadh

Building on the success of its debut edition, the second SaudiFood Manufacturing show is set to take place from April 13 to 15 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre. With over 550 international brands confirmed and a strong speaker lineup, the event is quickly becoming a key platform in Saudi Arabia’s food and beverage (F&B) manufacturing transformation.

Held under the patronage of His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and supported by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) as Strategic Partner, the show will focus on industry megatrends, innovation, and emerging business models.

SaudiFood Manufacturing remains the Kingdom’s only dedicated event covering the entire F&B manufacturing spectrum, from processing and packaging to ingredients, automation, and supply chain solutions. This year’s edition aims to accelerate Saudi Arabia’s goal of building a more resilient, agile, and sustainable food ecosystem.

Over 550 global companies, including Allagro, Al Wataniya, Anasia, Azelis, Brenntag, Buhler, FSL, Kanoo, MEPEQ, Multivac, Napco, Novonesis, Provisur, Reda, Sapin, and UCIC, will showcase their latest innovations. Participating country pavilions will feature France, the UK, Turkey, India, Switzerland, China, Spain, and others.

The event comes at a crucial growth moment for Saudi Arabia’s food sector, which is valued at $55 billion. The number of food industry companies in the Kingdom has increased by over 31% in recent years. In line with this growth, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) is pushing for food localization, aiming to produce 85% of the Kingdom’s food locally by 2030.

“SaudiFood Manufacturing has become an industry-leading trade event, attracting interest from global production leaders, and serves as a launchpad for transforming Saudi Arabia’s food processing landscape,” said Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International.

MODON, a strategic partner for the second year, continues to play a key role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s industrial food production landscape. This partnership aligns with Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s National Industrial Strategy.

Beyond the exhibition, the Food Forward Summit will bring together over 50 thought leaders to discuss forward-thinking topics such as biotechnology, AI in food production, and sustainability. International experts, including Dr. Maha Tahiri, Mathias Behn Bjørnhof, Dominik Grabinski, and others, will speak in the Kingdom for the first time.

SaudiFood Manufacturing 2024 will run daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
