Kratos Gamer Network (KGeN), a decentralized global platform for gamers, has announced the launch of its regional headquarters in Bahrain, marking a significant step in expanding its operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. With a global community of over 21 million gamers, KGeN aims to capitalize on the region’s rapidly growing gaming market.
The new Bahrain-based headquarters will introduce a universal gamer reputation framework, enabling gamers in the MENA region to build their gaming history through the internationally recognized ‘Proof of Gamer’ system, integrating them into the KGeN network. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between regional gaming communities and global game publishers looking to engage with passionate local audiences.
In addition to fostering collaboration between gamers and game publishers, KGeN’s MENA headquarters will drive innovation within the region’s gaming ecosystem. It will offer a blockchain-based user identity, reputation, and loyalty framework for regional publishers seeking to deliver immersive, gamified experiences to their consumers.
Manish Agarwal, co-founder of KGeN, highlighted Bahrain’s favorable digital infrastructure and supportive business environment, making it an ideal location for the company’s regional expansion. “We are excited to contribute to the region’s thriving gaming industry by providing top-tier technology solutions, partnerships, and expertise,” he stated.
KGeN’s expansion aligns with its vision of empowering consumer enterprises through AI and blockchain-driven gamification. By leveraging Bahrain’s advanced ICT sector, the company aims to tap into emerging opportunities and collaborate with both local and international consumer-facing organizations.
Ali Al Mudaifa, Chief of Business Development at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), expressed his enthusiasm for the new headquarters, noting that KGeN’s presence reinforces Bahrain’s dynamic tech ecosystem and underscores the country’s commitment to supporting the MENA gaming industry, projected to reach a $2.8 billion market by 2026.
