Jahrat Adib Chowdhury has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) of Banglalink, Bangladesh’s leading innovative digital operator. This marks a key milestone in the company’s journey towards solidifying its leadership in the country’s digital transformation.
Jahrat joined Banglalink in 2014 as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, bringing over 20 years of experience across multiple sectors. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in transforming Banglalink from a telecom operator into Bangladesh’s most innovative digital operator. Her strategic leadership in projects such as the asset-light model and regulatory compliance initiatives has been pivotal to the company’s success.
As Deputy CEO, Jahrat will collaborate with Banglalink’s senior leadership team to define the company’s strategic direction. She will continue to oversee legal affairs, corporate governance, and ESG responsibilities while contributing to the growth of Banglalink’s digital financial services. Her role will be integral in unlocking new opportunities and further advancing the company’s goals in Bangladesh’s digital ecosystem.
