Inwi Enhances Fiber Internet Packages with Faster Speeds and Lower Prices in Morocco

Moroccan telecommunications operator Inwi has unveiled new and upgraded fiber optic internet packages, aiming to make high-speed internet more affordable and accessible across the country. Inwi announced that all existing fiber customers will be upgraded automatically to faster speeds, without any additional cost or action required, following in the footsteps of competitor Maroc Telecom, which made a similar announcement.

One of the major updates includes the launch of a new 500 Mbps plan for MAD 749 per month. Inwi also revealed that soon, customers will be able to subscribe to a 1 Gbps plan for MAD 949. These high-speed plans are designed to cater to households with high internet usage, such as streaming, online gaming, and remote work.

Inwi has also reduced prices on its existing fiber internet plans. The 50 Mbps plan now costs MAD 299 per month, down from MAD 349, while the 100 Mbps plan is now available for MAD 349 per month, reduced from MAD 449. The 200 Mbps plan saw the largest price reduction, dropping from MAD 649 to MAD 449 per month.

Additionally, Inwi is expanding its fiber network to reach more regions across Morocco. The company also highlighted the recent launch of WiFi 7 in March 2025, a new technology that provides faster internet speeds, up to four times higher than before, along with reduced latency and more consistent coverage throughout the home.

This move by Inwi reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to improve internet access and offer better service to its customers in Morocco, further intensifying the competition in the country’s broadband market.
