Arabian Internet and Communications Services Company (solutions by stc) has entered into a contract with stc to establish and develop internet and communications networks. Signed on April 21, 2025, the project will involve expanding both new and existing network elements (NEs), as well as supplying, installing, integrating, and testing necessary equipment, tools, programs, and systems.
The total value of the contract is SAR 142,405,937.12. The project will focus on increasing the internal network capacity to support the growth of Radio Access Network (RAN) services. It will also involve establishing internal network infrastructure at nine sites across five regions in Saudi Arabia (Central, Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern), with dedicated DC-GW PE connections linking the LTE core setup to the IP/MPLS network.
The contract has a duration of 36 months, with the financial impact expected to reflect in the company’s financial statements starting from the third quarter of 2025. stc holds a 79% ownership stake in solutions by stc, making it a related party in this contract.
