Zong 4G has teamed up with the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) for Hajj 2025 in a strategic initiative aimed at facilitating seamless communication for over 91,000 Pakistani pilgrims. The partnership will provide pilgrims with free SIMs and international roaming services, ensuring they remain connected with their loved ones during their sacred journey.
Recognizing that many pilgrims will be traveling privately, Zong 4G is committed to offering uninterrupted connectivity, regardless of travel arrangements. The telecom company’s Hajj 2025 package includes 240 international minutes, 60 SMS, 2GB of dedicated WhatsApp data, and 10GB of unrestricted data, ensuring that pilgrims have all the resources they need for communication.
In addition to the data and roaming services, Zong will provide pilgrims with real-time tracking through a dedicated app, a helpline, and on-the-ground support with strategically located kiosks in Saudi Arabia. This ensures that pilgrims have immediate assistance and access to additional services during their stay.
Khurram Ishaq, Director LDI & International Business at Zong 4G, expressed pride in supporting Pakistan’s Hajj pilgrims, emphasizing that this initiative is more than just a service—it’s a civic duty. With international roaming, essential app data, and on-ground support, Zong 4G aims to provide a spiritually enriching, worry-free experience for all pilgrims.
