Kale Logistics Solutions and Novel Muscat to Develop Oman’s National Port Community System

Kale Logistics Solutions and Novel Muscat have been contracted by Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) to develop a National Port Community System (NPCS). The unified digital platform will integrate operations across Oman’s ports, airports, land ports, and free zones.

The announcement was made during Oman Logistics Day in Muscat, where MTCIT Ministers, Gulf Cooperation Council delegates, and World Bank officials acknowledged the initiative’s potential to enhance Oman’s logistics infrastructure. The NPCS aims to improve coordination across all transport modes, fostering smoother international trade and solidifying Oman’s position as a regional logistics hub.

Eng. Abdullah bin Ali Al Busaidi, Acting Head of the Oman Logistics Center at MTCIT, outlined the Logistics Sector Strategy 2040, which is built on four pillars: Market Development, Trade Facilitation, Employment and Omanisation, and Logistics Technologies. These pillars are key to Oman’s goal of becoming a global logistics hub by enhancing competitiveness and efficiency in regional markets.

Vineet Malhotra, Co-Founder and Director of Kale Logistics Solutions, expressed pride in the partnership, noting that the NPCS will play a transformative role in developing sustainable and efficient cargo solutions in Oman.
