The UAE Cybersecurity Council has partnered with e& UAE to launch the Al Ain Innovation Centre, aimed at supporting the UAE’s digital transformation and innovation agenda. Announced at GISEC Global 2025, the centre will foster collaboration in AI, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and device development.
The Al Ain Innovation Centre will serve as a national hub for applied research, talent development, and startup incubation. It will bring together experts from various fields to co-create solutions aligned with the UAE’s national goals. This collaboration strengthens the country’s position as a global leader in digital transformation and applied innovation.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, stated that the centre will support talent development and foster collaboration across government, industry, and academia. The initiative aims to create a resilient digital economy by advancing technological capabilities and promoting entrepreneurship.
Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, emphasized the importance of the centre in realizing the UAE’s vision of becoming a global beacon for innovation, providing a collaborative space where ideas are turned into impactful solutions.
The Al Ain Innovation Centre will also play a crucial role in the UAE’s broader innovation and digital economy strategies, including the UAE Centennial 2071 and the National Innovation Strategy. By integrating infrastructure, education, and emerging technologies, the centre will enhance the UAE’s leadership in applied innovation.
