Mastercard has named Saud Swar as the new Country Manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and other Levant countries, bolstering its leadership team in the West Arabia division. This appointment reinforces Mastercard’s commitment to being the region’s preferred technology partner and advancing an inclusive digital economy.
Saud Swar will lead Mastercard’s operations across these markets, focusing on deepening local engagement and connecting communities to accessible, secure, and transformative digital financial services. Adam Jones, Executive Vice President and Division President of West Arabia, expressed confidence that Saud’s leadership will drive growth and impact throughout the region.
With over 17 years in financial services, Saud brings extensive experience from American Express, where he rose to Chief Business Officer for MENA. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Bahrain and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
